Governor’s Office Recommendations

Area health care providers ask that if you  are exhibiting symptoms of a fever over 100 degrees, cough and/or have shortness of breath, or you believe you may have been exposed to the Coronavirus, please call your primary care giver.  If your primary care giver is located at one of the surrounding urgent care facilities, those facilities ask that you call in advance for instructions. Most health care providers to include Mclaren Hospital (Petoskey) offer Coronavirus testing;  only at the recommendation of the patients primary care provider or if a suspect patient displays the symptoms of the Coronavirus.  Coronavirus testing is billed as any other medical test.
