Short Term Rental Licensing Program
The City’s ordinance on Short Term Rentals permits the rental of residential properties on a short term basis (30 days or less). The City has instituted a licensing process to provide structure and guidance so that short term rental can grow in a way that blends with Harbor Springs cherished values.
Licenses must be in place or fines may be levied to unlicensed properties. Property owners with multiple short term rental properties will need to fill out an application for each rental unit.
