Public Notice – Proposed Special Land Use – August 12 2026 at 5:30 PM

The City of Harbor Springs Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August,
12 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 160 Zoll Street, Harbor Springs.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider approval of a proposed Special Land Use for property
located at 423 E Main St. The owner is seeking approval for a two story accessory structure that will
include Guest Quarters, located in the R-1B zoning district.

The Planning Commission will review the proposed use pursuant to the Special Land Use requirements
found in Article 9 of the City’s Zoning Code and pursuant to requirements within the R-1B Zoning District,
which permits two story accessory structures in residential districts.
