DDA Board and Parks Board Vacancies

The Downtown Development Authority has an open position on its board. The DDA exists to promote and improve the downtown district developed under state law.  The DDA has the ability to take action for improvement in the City’s designated downtown district.

DDA Board meetings are held monthly, typically the second Wednesday of the month, at 8:30 a.m.  Members of the DDA Board are appointed to serve four-year terms.  If you are interested in serving on the DDA Board or any of its committees, please contact DDA Director Margo Damoose at ddadirector@cityofharborsprings.com.  To be considered for this position, you must complete and submit a Citizen Participation Application.

The Parks & Recreation Board also has an opening to fill a vacant seat. The term expires in December of 2022. The Parks Board is responsible for assisting the City Parks Director in caring for and managing all City parks, playgrounds and passive park spaces. Meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the third Tuesday of each month.
