Planning Commission Needs Public Input on Short Term Rental Topics – Tuesday, August 24, 2021
The City of Harbor Springs is in the process of updating its master plan and there are some key topics about which the planning commission needs public input. The topics are related to short term rentals in the city.
The meeting will be hosted by a subcommittee of the planning commission and will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Everyone is invited including full and part-time residents, visitors, residents of other jurisdictions, business owners and employees.
The subcommittee will provide some upfront information and then guide the discussion. They are seeking input on these key topics:
- What is your general experience with short term rentals?
- What impacts are short-term rentals having on our community?
- Should there be guidelines, rules or restrictions to manage short term rentals?
No RSVP is necessary. Please come and bring your best ideas on the issues.
